I'm a Pennsylvania state prisoner. I seek correspondence and/or visits with anyone who is interested in us learning about one another, and who is interested in learning about prisoners generally.
Prior to my incarceration, I received B.S. and M.Ed. degrees from Penn State, and taught high-school. Divorced during my imprisonment, I have a 35-year-old married son and a 33-year-old married daughter. They were three and one years old, respectively, when I entered prison.
Throughout my life I've been active in athletics, especially baseball, softball and basketball. As illustrated in the accompanying photo, I've remained in good physical condition.
Music is a particular interest of mine. Not only have I provided piano, organ and guitar accompaniment for chapel choirs, but I've also been a vocalist in "oldies" (50's and 60's) groups.
Currently, I'm deeply involved in writing, including manuscripts describing my experiences. I'm also involved in litigating prisoners' rights, especially parole requirements and the pursuit of voting rights for the incarcerated. Consequently, current events and politics comprise a significant portion of my conversation and writing.
