Steven Seaforth is (or was) a Pennsylvania state cop. They like to call themselves "troopers." It sounds so much tougher. Being a Pennsylvania state cop, Steve is something of a thug. Officials say he likes to beat-up his estranged wife. Abusing the weak and helpless is a state cop addiction. After he assaulted the woman the first time, Slugger was apparently forced to quit the force. That didn't deter Steve. Authorities assert that during the middle to the night he beat her up again outside her home. He apparently pounded her against the car and strangled her. Because he was a cop the highly partial magistrate didn't even make him post bond! We suggest that decent people avoid Pennsylvania state cops. It possible, avoid Pennsylvania altogether.
