Ward Deemer was a middle-aged man with no shortage of
personal problems and imperfections. But he didn't deserve to
die! Don't we all have problems and imperfections?
One August morning, while Mr. Deemer was busy in a homeless shelter with dozens of witnesses, some woman claimed that she was raped. Now rape in a heinous crime, but very many rape charges are false. The system is so twisted that the least charge of rape is regarded as gospel truth without any proof. A few hours after the supposed rape, the cops in West Chester, seat of Chester County in Southeastern Pennsylvania, spotted Mr. Deemer about a mile away from the scene of the supposed crime. For no apparent reason other than he seemed to be poor, the cops decided that Mr. Deemer was the culprit. Using prejudicial procedures, the cops showed him to the woman who claimed to be the victim. She confirmed it; the recovering alcoholic was definately her assailant! The distraught Mr. Deemer, father of two, struggling to survive, loudly proclaimed his innocence. What do cops care about innocence? Some woman had claimed that he raped her and that was good enough for the criminal justice racket. Mr. Deemer was slapped into jail. By evening he'd committed suicide. He was utterly desperate! It took months, but eventually his DNA tests came back. Ward Deemer wasn't the rapist if, indeed, there had even been a rapist. And the woman who precipitated the innocent man's death, what about her? Nothing happened to her! We aren't even allowed to know her name. Did she get away with murder, or what? |
