Most peoples around the world detest America and Americans. The
reason is because we treat people so badly. Instead of showing
them respect, we show them contempt. As a nation we are arrogant
and look down on others. Neurotically, we need to think they
are inferior to us. That way we can feel important.
Instead of joining with others and including them, we exploit and use them; a tyrannical manipulator. In recent years America has become not just timid, but a greedy nation, imperialisticly exporting tyranny. Our tyranny kills and oppresses persons in an effort to make a profit or to force others to "change" and adopt our dogmas. We don't tolerate differences. In order to export tyranny we obviously have an excess of it at home. While pretending to stand for human dignity, liberty, justice and freedom, we have become a terrified nation of misers nervously guarding our possessions. In the process we are selling our liberties and independence for "security." We've locked ourselves into a national prison for the sake of "security." We hire our own jailers. It's a kind of madness. The Communists had their liberty taken from them. We've given ours away so that the boogeyman won't get us! Evil, unscrupulous politicians cultivate and exploit the fears. They wrest dictatorial powers and wealth from our fear of the dark. The politicians want us to believe that we need them to protect us. Just as we treat other nations as an inferior class, at home we've created underclasses upon which we look down. We need to hold others in contempt. We exploit the poor and we've been utterly inhumane to our two million prisoners. In order to feel important and successful, we must have "inferiors" to look down upon and to exploit. Things, mostly unneeded things, are more important to us that persons. In order to feel "safe" we've cultivated phobias against prisoners, exprisoners and anyone else who is a "risk." Like the insane Howard Hughes, we've become obsessed with the threat posed by our "enemies" both real and imagined. If we treat people decently, far fewer of them will want to kill us, far more will want to treat us decently. We have plenty, share it. Help others to succeed and improve themselves. We don't have to hold other people down in order to be important. We don't have to degrade, harm and exploit prisoners in order to feel "safe" or important. We don't have to "punish" persons in order to feel better than they are. We must treat persons decently, no matter who they are. We are the safest and the most prosperous when our "enemies" are our friends. We accomplish that by treating them decently. Why are there over a million "criminal background checks" a year in Pennsylvania? We want to label people. We want to single out "risks." The risk is our own insecurity and the unscrupulous right-wing politicians who play on it. |
