We get lots of email from cops and guards. Almost all are full of hate and aggression; contempt for us citizens. The following is part of an email that we received from twpcop@aol.com As happens with most cop-types, the writer was too cowardly to sign her/his name to give a phone number or even an address. Most cops have to dress-up and carry weapons to feel brave.
Much of the email is incoherent. Some of it is ravings. We have taken the liberty of editing the part we are publishing to make it readable. We are publishing it because we believe that some points of view are their own worst enemies.
"Why don't you go into the prisons and have visits with them (prisoners?) I'm sure they would love you on their dinner list (meaning is unclear)! We need more executions in the state of PA. It would be a deternt (sic) if they killed some of these low-life bastards! Then there would be less population in the prisons.
"Dah (sic), makes sense to me. Why don't you people, if you love your inmates so much, go live with them, so (that) you can get a taste of what We (sic) in law enforcement have to deal with everyday (sic)? Scum Bags! (Apparently the name-calling is directed at us.) By the way, your (sic, apparently you're is meant) fugly (apparently ugly is meant)! Are you (a) postop transvestite? " (Apparently transsexual is meant. The cop's slur is apparently directed at Barbara Kestler, the young woman who volunteers as our editor whose photo is on our homepage. The cop's hatred is focused upon a dedicated, hard-working young mother who generously donates her efforts to help those in need.)
You citizens give guns to cops like this!
