 Terry R. Garlock, Jr. is a guard at the state prison in Camp Hill in South Central Pennsylvania. He's from Huntingdon County a little farther up state. Heavens only knows what he did up there, but we know some of what he was doing while he was at Camp Hill.
According the the Attorney General, guard Garlock had the hots for a little girl. He wanted to "get together" with her. We can't say exactly how much "together" he intended to get. Well, at least the excited Mister Garlock thought it was a little girl, a 13 year-old, that he was chatting with online. Actually, it was an agent for the Attorney General. It was one of the many entrapment set-ups that the cops run nowadays. They try to lure people into doing what they might not otherwise really do. Prison guard Garlock was almost 40 years-old. He should have known better. He's a Pennsylvania prison guard, so he's not too bright. As a group, Pennsylvania prison guards are the bottom of the social barrel. Mister Garlock allowed the cops to lead him on using a chat room on Yahoo. We strongly recommend against anyone using Yahoo for anything. Reportedly, Yahoo has actually cooperated with totalitarian governments including the United States and China to invade users' privacy and to censor the Internet. We recommend Google. It's not nearly as bad.
The cops kept at it until the horny guard sent some more smut of himself. The cops must have been having a lot of laughs at the guard's expense. They were reluctant to bust him since he was a prison guard. Generally cops and guards protect and lie for one another. It's part of Pennsylvania's culture of official coverup. When dirty-guard-Garlock became insistent to meet the child (perhaps just for a tea party) and sent her his phone number, the cops felt that they were compelled to act. They arrested him. He was still not charged with the serious offenses, just with a porn charge. The culture of official cover-up was/is still alive and well. We've written about the Camp Hill (or "Camp Hell") prison elsewhere. The guards are among the most barbaricly unprofessional thugs in the state. In the hole they won't even feed or bathe the prisoners. Such abuse makes then feel important. You can see that we can't feel very sorry for one of those guys being busted even if the charge is bogus. A naked prison guard may offend normal sensibilities, but is it criminal? Our view is that all of the Camp Hill prison is a crime against decency and integrity.

Mister Garlock got so wrapped up with the pretend child, that he sent her some video of himself. He was quite naked. Apparently not a pretty sight.
