From time to time we publish articles about a few of the crimes committed by cops. As a group they are the worst offenders and worst repeat offenders in the state. We only have space for a few of the hundreds of cases which come to our attention. We published a brief account of the needless death of a young man named John Tabor. Like so many others, he died because of cops. The victim's bereaved father, Benjamin, send us an interesting email which we reproduce in part. "My name is Ben Tabor. I am the father of John Paul Tabor. As you know, John Tabor was the boy in Nancy N. Nyster's article 'Cops Cause Another Kid To Die' "Naturally, I would like to know the truth about John's death. Most of the story is correct to my knowledge (both answered and unanswered facts). I also don't know the key facts regarding John's death, however, I do know three facts. "(A) The police didn't contact me regarding the accident. If there was to be a life-saving operation [to save John after the incident], it had to take place within the first hour or two after the accident due to the fact [that] it was a head injury. "(B) John did not crash into a building [at] a 'Y' in the road. If you see the location in Hummelstown (near Hershey, just east of Harrisburg] you will not believe that PENN-DOT or the borough would permit the building to sit in the middle of the road. This is not a 'Y,' but rather a building in the middle of the road. "(C) The police most likely had the option of directing John either toward the building or up a very steep grade which would have saved John's life. "Please call me or write as soon as you can.
