Guards Operated a
Sex Ring
In the Pittsburgh Jail

By: Timmy Pratt

For years a large number of guards at the Allegheny County jail in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania have been raping and sexually assaulting prisoners. While many of the victims were men and boys, those persons were unwilling to testify. Some of the female victims, however came forward. Only 13 of the offending guards were actually charged. Others escaped charges because the women couldn't corroborate their accusations. And because they were prisoners and undeserving of legal protection.

One particularly prolific repeat offender, guard LeShawn Walker, was sentenced to 10 to 28 years. Most others got off with probation or slaps on the wrist.

Sexual assaults by guards are common in prison. Women prisoners are the most vulnerable, but homosexual rape of males in not unusual. More often male prisoners have affairs with female guards. Generally the woman gets bored (just like in marriage). Then she accuses the prisoner of raping her. The men always get the shaft.

Guards in the state prison system can usually get away with murder, rape and assault. The state (that mean's us taxpayers) have an elaborate and costly system in place to protect them and cover-up their crimes.
