After a decades-long sex scandal was
brought to light by a female victims, Governor Ed "Big
Disappointment" Rendell was pressured into instituting an
"investigation" of the Pennsylvania state Police. Mostly
the report covered up the crimes and criminals, but it did focus
a glimmer on some of the worst offenses.
Now it's time for an investigation of Pennsylvania prison guards. They are very nearly as bad as the state cops, but their victims are mostly helpless prisoners. Too often the public tolerates barbarism against prisoners. That simply conditions prisoners to be more dangerous criminals. A good rule would be: don't do to someone else what you don't want done to your daughter. The Pennsylvania State Police have always been a criminal gang. They were founded as enforcers for big business, especially big coal and steel operators. They were and are the enemies of the ordinary citizens. Their original job was to oppress and kill miners and laborers, to crush labor unions and to prevent workers from being treated decently. The state cops began as a troop of mounted thugs killing working men who had the nerve to demand safety, fair wages and decent treatment. In their first 10 years, the troop slaughtered over 300 citizens, mostly hapless immigrants; Irish, Poles, Germans, Italians, Welsh, Slavs, and so forth. In recent times the organization is nothing but the state sanctioned Mafia. The "organization is rotten from top to bottom," according to one prominent and knowledgeable attorney. It's time the gang was disbanded. Governor "Big Disappointment" Rendell's official report (or cover up, if you prefer) said that in eight years 88 state cops were charged with "serious crimes." That's over 2% of the force and 6 times the rate among the general public. A state cop is 6 times as likely to be charged with a crime as an ordinary citizen! But, the statistics have been twisted in order to make the state cops look less bad than they really are. Below you'll find the numbers which are closer to the truth. During the past 8 years the State Police force has averaged about 4100 cops. Of that number about one out of three (27%) have committed serious crimes, such as murder, assault, rape, intimidation, robbery, forgery, sexual assault, incest, burglary, manslaughter, child abuse and so forth. Almost all of the crimes are ignored, covered up or tolerated because the criminals belong to a "special class;" they are cops. Of the actual offenses, fewer that 1 in 10 is actually prosecuted. That's where "Big Disappointment's" report comes up with the number 88 or 11 a year. The truth is that if you're stopped three time by state cops, one of them is a serious criminal! Here are some more nearly accurate figures:
It's time for Governor Ed "Big Disappointment" Rendell to investigate crimes by prison guards. By our rough calculations, we project that of the 10,000 actual uniformed guards about 2100 (or 80 in each prison) have committed serious crimes. We are personally acquainted with dozens of them. (Just consider income tax evasion. Very very few are prosecuted. It's time to change all that! |
