Ricardo Dee Laboy was a guard at the Cumberland County, Pennsylvania jail until he was charges with violently assaulting his wife. He was tossed into jail without bail because he had a prior history and because the judge was concerned that he might commit suicide. This is a pretty good example of the kind of folks who get jobs as guards. Many are not very stable and most are violent.
