If you want to provide some low-priced entertainment for a
prisoner, you might consider having puzzle and crossword books
sent to him/her.
Penny Press, offers lots of back issues of their puzzle publications for less that $1 per book. One deal that we've bought several times is a pack of 32 back issues of crossword puzzle and "variety" puzzle books. When we've bought the deal, the price for the 32 books was $21.95 plus $5.50 for postage. That comes to $27.45 or about 86 cents per book. They would give many months of distraction to a prisoner. We make nothing for suggesting this firm. It's a public service. The company may be reached at: 6 Prowitt Street Norwalk, CT 06855-1220 www.pennypress.com |
