Commemorating
Ponchai Wilkerson,
Another Victim Of George Bush
By: Al and Alice Nobel
On 14 March 2000 George W. Bush of Texas, or really his homicidal lackeys, killed prisoner Ponchai Wilkerson. As he lay on the gurney dying, the poison pouring into his body, his mouth fell open. A key dropped out! Till the very last instant of his existence, he struggled desperately for life and dreamed of freedom!

He had twice tried to escape from Death Row and even as Bush's fanatics killed him, he battled for liberty.

Mr. Wilkerson was a killer. In no way do we condone or sanction killing or violence; not when done by citizens like Mr. Wilkerson or when done by the state. A civilized person and a civilized people don't kill the persons they dislike.

We do admire Mr. Wilkerson's lust for freedom and his persistent struggle for life. Also, we detest the part of him which was murderous just as we detest the part of George W. Bush which is even more murderous.

In commemoration of the spirit of the best in Ponchai Wilkerson, we have awarded citations to 3 Pennsylvania prisoners who, in our view, display admirable zest for freedom and liberty for themselves and for others. Because of the character of the political regime now in power, we are not publishing the prisoners' names. We will, however, reveal that all the honorees are men, two are black, one is white and that one is at SCI-Greene, one at SCI-Graterford and one at SCI-Dallas.

Our congratulations to each recipient.
