I have quite a few things to say about the law enforcement in
Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
My Little brother was hit and killed by a speeding driver. The police in this township didn't test the driver for intoxicants nor did they treat the incident as they would treat any other case involving a child's death. Why the guy wasn't tested, I don't know. I do know that the police had every right to get a blood test without the driver's consent because he killed someone. It's amazing to me that the car slid 115 feet after the incident. It was a 40 mile per hour speed limit zone and the road was dry. The police said he wasn't speeding. Bullshit! That guy was speeding! I knew there was something wrong right away. The cops weren't doing their job. When I started my own investigation, I found out a lot of interesting facts. The thing that got me the most was that the driver who killed my brother is friends with the lead police investigator. The investigator is a mechanic when he's not on duty as a cop. He's the one who inspected the driver's car not long before my brother was killed. There's something else that I felt wasn't right. When I saw the car that struck my brother, the windows were black, I mean tinted very dark. Nonetheless, the moonlighting cop/mechanic still passed the car for inspection. A cop should know that it's illegal to have darkly tinted windows. When my family tried to do something about it, they were the ones in the wrong. Our family has lived without justice because these cops do whatever they want...I mean, whatever they want! My family went to the chief of police. It just so happens that he's "dirty" also. We went to the township supervisors - they're "dirty." Then we tried the state police and were told about many things. They proved that speed was involved in the incident. Still, nothing was ever done. We don't know what to do now, because the law is crooked. Even the state police! This isn't the only incident I'm aware of. I even witnessed the lead investigator in my brother's case with another cop, go to a house of underage drinkers right next to my apartment. The cops simply left. Not only didn't they charge anyone, they came out of the house with a beer. As they walked away they popped the top. I had it all on tape from my outside security camera. When the tape was taken to the state police, they said it wasn't beer, it was "bong." Okay, it was a bong, where's the paraphernalia charge? Where's the bong? Now we have both alcohol and drug charges which weren't enforced. Not only that, the same township issues a disorderly conduct charge for identity theft. My brother-in-law's girlfriend who used someone else's social security number to get telephone service. When she was caught, she was left off on a disorderly conduct charge. I'm not a cop, but I do know that they're sworn to uphold the law, protect and serve the innocent. Why can't Southern Regional Police of Lancaster, Pennsylvania (Conestoga) do their jobs? They're out of control and I'm out of options. With all I know, our law enforcement in Lancaster, Conestoga Township SUCKS! It's just like the mob!
