Cop Hired Hitman
To Assault Child
BY: N.C. Andrew

Shawn P. Phillips, a cop employed by both Coaldale and East Penn Township, PA, has been convicted of hiring one 10 year- old child to assault another boy. The cop paid the Little League pitcher to hit another player with a pitched ball. Fortunately, the little boy wasn't badly hurt.

The cop was only charged with misdemeanors. The politically sympathetic prosecutor failed to charge him with aggravated assault, child abuse or any of the other five serious felonies which seem to apply.

Cops are a special class of people and get a special "justice."

The youth who earned $2 for pitching the ball was reprimanded by the Little League. He aspires to become a cop.
