The Beheading of Nick Berg
May Not Be What it Seems

Everyone was horrified by the barbaric beheading of American Nick Berg in Iraq in May 2004. Like many others, Rebecca said it made her sick to the stomach. She couldn't even stand to hear about it. Certainly the murder was ghastly. It did great harm to the Arabs' cause.

We were fed the story that the atrocity was the work of our "enemies," the "terrorists." Within hours our CIA reported that the hooded executioner was really a boogey-man, Abu al Zarqowi. The docile American press happily repeated this line to an equally naive American public which lacks the analytic discrimination to be critlCa1ly skeptical. If we've learned anything from the George Bush presidency is that we are systematically lied to.

Many less gullible Muslims believe that Mr. Berg wasn't the victim of Arab "extremists" at all. For numerous good reasons, they believe that he was murdered by American operatives, likely our own CIA!

This skeptical view is not simply wild speculation. Good evidence supports it.

Berg was a prisoner of the Americans. We know that American forces had seized Nick Berg and "interrogated" (that mean's tortured) him. They turned him over to someone, probably the CIA. Then they tried to cover it up. They lied about it and claim that the puppet Iraq "police" had had him. It is only from Mr. Berg's father that we got the truth.

American agents had arrested and harassed Nick Berg before. We know that even before he went to Iraq, Mr. Berg was the target of official American persecution. He was seized and suspected of being a "terrorist" (whatever that may be) because of his computer password! Clearly, the American authorities viewed Mr. Berg as an enemy to be victimized.

Nick Berg was not a US mercenary. We've been fed the line that Mr. Berg went to Iraq as a "businessman." In American double- speak that generally means he was a mercenary, a hired killer. The American government has taken to calling them "contractors." It sounds innocuous, almost wholesome, part of the "rebuilding" myth. In reality, America has hired thousands of extra-legal killers, torturers, thugs and bullies to beat the Iraqis into submission and steal their oil. Nick Berg seems not to have been a "contractor," but what his real role may have been is not clear.

Nick Berg was druged when he was murdered. In the videotape fed to the press, the victim was docile and compliant, not even frightened. He was apparently drugged. Arab "terrorists" don't drug their victims. The CIA almost always uses drugs to control and interrogate its victims. It appears that the young man was doped and murdered by the CIA.

The killers were hooded. In dozens of former videos, Arab "terrorists" have not been afraid to show their faces. They've been delighted to do so. They are proud of themselves and want to be known. In this case, they said who they were or who they wanted us to believe they were, but for some reason they wore hoods. Arab "terrorists" have never done that before. They have wanted credit for what they do. The hoods clearly intend to hide the real identity of the killers. Why? Because they were known American operatives.

The killers weren't built like Arabs, but rather like Americans. The videotape that American media showed without any analysis, depicts 5 men standing in a row behind the victim. Their height is too tall for Arabs. Their physiques are that of young soldiers, not terrorists. Their clothes are those of the American para-military pretending to be Arabs. The way they pose themselves in a line is unlike other videos where the Arabs are in a knot, not a formation.

The timing of the atrocity is simply too convenient. We know that American authorities wanted to hide the widespread abuses going on in Iraq. CBS's airing of the prisoner abuse photos was only the "tip of the iceberg." American abuses were endemic. The photos shocked decent Americans and greatly undermined support for the Bush oil war. The media and the public had to be distracted from the scandal. The military approach was a diversion. First the trumped up beheading intending to show how awful the "enemy" was and then Bush's Secretary of Aggression's trip to Iraq trying to save his job and salvage the war. Someone, probably the CIA wanted to get your mind off the crimes being committed by the American invaders.

The beheading was used to aid the cover-up of American crimes. We were fed the line that Nick Berg was killed because the Arabs had seen the pornographic and savage photographs of prisoner tortures. There are at least 1800 more photographs and videos of murders, rapes, tortures, sodomy and other crimes. The Bush control-freaks want that information covered-up. It would undermine support for the Bush oil war. Now the war mongers can claim that it would be dangerous to release the pictures. They use the beheading as justification for the cover-up. Sadly, the spineless American media won't ferret out the truth. They simply parrot Bush propaganda. All the photos should be released. All the facts should be released. The cover-up should not be allowed to continue.

Don't believe it simply because Big Brother claims that something is true. If there's one thing we've learned, it is that Bush lies, not about a blow-job, but about war and murder. We've been spoon-fed a bowl of crap. The infamous Fox "News" Channel has led the way in feeding lies and propaganda to trusting American saps, but they haven't been alone. Even legitimate news sources have failed to be skeptical and tell the anti-Bush, anti- war story.

The message read by Nick Berg's killers was lip synched or dubbed. The videotape received by the media appears to have been altered. It's sound track was either dubbed or lip synched. There would be no reason for Arabs to lip synch their own language.

Taken as a whole, we must be VERY skeptical of the Berg atrocity. Americans must mature into more discriminating consumers of the news. We must not blindly accept the fairy-tales fed to us by the government. Government is NOT good, not honest and not trustworthy. It is a corrupt servant. Under the Bush control-freaks, it is far worse. Don't be gullible. Use your own good senses. When you see something, ask yourself, "what did I really see?"

Iraq is a big place, 169,000 square miles, bigger than Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Ohio combined. It has about 22.6 million people, about half the population of the same size area in America. Almost half of the Iraqis are children 15 years old or younger. They don't want us there. We are not "liberators." That's Bush propaganda. We are invaders and occupiers. There are 150,000 American troops and thousands of hired thugs, mercenaries, exploiting, torturing and abusing. What would you do if a foreign army took over your town, killing your family and friends?

The Bush oil war isn't about "democracy." You can't force democracy on a tribal people or on any people. Bush wants a puppet Christian colony in the midst of the Muslim world. He and his minions will do anything to get their way; even murder an American!

Remember that in Texas, Bush gleefully presided over the execution of 148 American "criminals."

Personally, I don't know who beheaded Nicholas Berg, but I'm very skeptical of the claim that it was "terrorists." More likely, it was the same folks who were torturing the prisoners, American operatives. We know that most of the prisoners were completely innocent. When the scandal broke, 3/4 of them were immediately released and sent to remote areas where the media couldn't interview them.

We'll probably never know the truth. It's America, the land of the cover-up, the land of Bush and the CIA. But we extend are most sincere condolences to all Nicholas Berg's family and friends.
