Every few weeks another kid gets tossed into jail because he's sprung an infection on the Internet. Computers crash, servers fail, systems go down, networks are paralyzed and the authorities arrest a patsy. They prove that he did it (so far it's never been a woman). He goes to the slammer. The truth is that as often happens, the cops have the wrong guy; not just once, but every time they've arrested someone. The real culprit is Microsoft! Microsoft is a monopoly which sells defective products. Their software is what allows, in fact invites, hackers. Pure and simple, the product is fatally defective. What's more, it's unsafe. A greedy, powerful and callous corporation has dumped defective products on the market. They've made a mint. They've cost you a mint and cost the Internet a mint. Let the kids out of prison. If you must lockup anybody, let it be the money-worshiping corporate executives. Better yet, every time there's a virus or a worm or any similar problem, fine Microsoft; big fines. Pretty soon, there'd be no more problem with worms or Trojan horses or viruses and maybe our computers would actually work.
