Like most cops, Burlie Sholer, III and his pal, Ray Nguyen and crooks. The pair are among the very few cop-criminals who ever get caught. Cops usually protect one another and share the lucre. They are, after all, by far the worst street gang(s) in the nation. Sholer and Nguyen are federal marshals, so-called air marshals, the gun-toting cowboys who ride around free on airplanes supposedly "protecting" the suckers who bought into the Republicans' big lie. These air marshals (like many others) used their privileged position to smuggle scads of dope, mostly cocaine, apparently, into the counrty. Don't get us wrong. We think that the drug laws are dumb. If a person wants to get stoned, that's on her/him. The great social evils grow out of the fact that dope is illegal and "glamorous." But the dynamic duo of Sholer number 3 and Nguyen number 1 are the worst kind of smugglers; we pay them a salary to do it.
