President George W. Bush and his Republican party have created
an astonishing historical legacy.
Future generations, both in
the United States and around the world, will certainly remember
this era and George W. Bush.
His most significant accomplishments
include the following:
- Aggressive War: unnecessary invasion and savage
occupation of foreign nations in order to steal natural resources,
especially oil and to create a Christian colony in Moslem areas.
- Weapons of Mass Destruction Lies: pretending there
were nuclear, biological and chemical weapons where none existed;
spreading the lies to the United Nations with the fake anthrax
vial; spreading the lies to the rest of the world; maligning
France, Germany and Russia when they were too smart to swallow
his lies.
- Mass Killings: the deaths of thousands of Americans
and of tens of thousands of innocent foreigners; maiming and
crippling tens of thousand of Americans and hundreds of thousands
of innocent foreigners for no reason other than to enrich big
business.
- Torture: the systematic physical and psychological
abuse of prisoners of war and of innocent civilians; the use of
sadism for entertainment and amusement; inhumane treatment of
men, women and children.
- Murders: the systematic murders of many dozens of
prisoners; torturing prisoners to death; killing men, women and
children as sadistic entertainment and amusement (like the vice
president's fondness for shooting caged animals).
- Detention without Charge: systematic imprisonment of
thousands of innocent civilians, prisoners of war and others
without formally charging them or allowing them to defend
themselves or allowing them legal representation.
- Secret Imprisonment: systematic imprisonment in secret
and foreign prisons; keeping secret the identities, numbers and
locations of prisoners of war, civilian prisoners and others;
evading oversight by courts, the public and congress of covert
imprisonment.
- Warrantless Wiretapping: of tens of thousands of
innocent Americans without legitimate justification, probable
cause or judicial oversight; systematic invasion of the personal
privacy of political enemies, business enemies and ordinary
citizens.
- War Lies: systematically lying about progress and
conditions in the twin wars in Afghanistan and Iraq in order to
deceive the public and to gain political advantage for Republicans.
- Telephone Records Mining: the invasion of the personal
privacy of tens of millions of ordinary US citizens, newsmen and
business people by obtaining and searching their telephone records
to obtain political and business advantages for Republicans.
- Katrina Disaster: the bumbling and intentional neglect
which resulted in the loss of thousands of lives and billions
of dollars in property; the systematic disadvantaging of the poor
in favor of the wealthy, of the blacks in favor of the whites
and of the Democrats in favor of the Republicans.
- Gas and Oil Profiteering: collusion in the criminal
manipulation of the price of natural gas, gas and oil to benefit
the enormous profits of big oil companies which contribute to
Republicans; incalculable harm to ordinary citizens who can't
afford to heat homes, drive cars and/or pay escalated prices caused
by the unjustified increases in the prices of gas and oil;
systematic greed and exploitation to benefit the wealthy.
- Oil Company Tax Advantages: excusing big oil companies
from paying taxes; causing poor persons to pay the taxes due from
the oil giants; giving oil companies tax money to increase their
profits.
- Destroying the Ecology: in order to benefit Republicans,
the wealthy and big businesses at the expense of future
generations.
- Stealing the Election: using political manipulation
and a politically active Supreme Court to steal the presidential
election; rigging legislative districts and voter roles in order
to manipulate elections and steal power.
- Creating Christian Theocracy: using Christian mythology
and autocratic Christian religious groups to spread lies and obtain
power for unelected Christian religious groups; giving tax money,
power and aid to religious groups, especially extremist, far-right
wings fundamentals cults; imposing Christian mythology, corrupt
Christian dogmas and Christian domination on foreign cultures.
- Sweetheart Contracts: giving contracts worth tens of
billions of tax dollars to Halliburton and other Republican firms
without competitive bidding, often in secret in order to benefit
Republicans and to disadvantage ordinary taxpayers.
- Lobbyist Buying Favors: from Republican legislators,
the White House and Republican politicians to benefit themselves
and the Republicans at the expense of ordinary taxpayers.
- Secret "No-Fly" Blacklists: of political enemies and
ordinary citizens which violate the Constitutional right of travel
and commerce as a means of disadvantaging disfavored individuals;
use of McCarthy-like witch-hunt tactics to harm disfavored persons
and to help Republicans.
- Colusion with Pharmaceutical Companies: with phony
medical and drug schemes which put tax money into the pockets
of big business with a minimal benefit to sick Americans;
interfering with needy persons obtaining inexpensive medications
from outside the United States in order to increase profits of
big pharmaceutical firms which subsidize Republicans.
- Cancerous National Debt: giving hundreds of billions
of dollars to big businesses and the wealthy and thereby creating
a national debt of unprecedented enormity; harming ordinary
citizens for many generations in order to enrich the wealthy today.
- Manipulating "News:" hiring persons to pretend to be
news reporters to spread Republican lies and propaganda; hiring
foreign newspapers and news services to spread lies and propaganda
in order to benefit Republicans and big business; owning a
twenty-four hour "news" channel to spread lies, distortions and
propaganda which disadvantage ordinary citizens and benefit
Republicans.
- Campaign of Fear, Terror and Intimidation: using vague
and usually unfounded fear to dupe citizens out of their liberties,
rights and property; exaggerating dangers and threats in order
to stay in power; using meaningless terms such as "terrorist"
to create the illusion that the ordinary citizen is in profound
danger and therefor must surrender his/her rights to an imperial
all-powerful Republican administration.
- Secret Government: governing in secret; hiding facts
and truth from the electorate; systematic lies, dishonesty, deceit
and concealment all to benefit Republican power, big business
and the wealthy.
- Greed: Greed and more greed.
- Evil:
- Additional Legacy: George W. Bush's regal administration
and the Republican distemper which support and control it.
Very
bad!
Since the Republican party was concocted it has been the enemy
of the people.
It exists to benefit the wealthy and the aristocrat
over the ordinary citizen.
It's the puppet of big business over
the public good.
Historically it has had the money to buy power
and elections.
George W. Bush may not be the worst president the United States
has ever endured.
History will have to judge how far down the
list he actually belongs.
It cannot fail to find that he was
a truly evil person doing evil things for evil reasons.
George
W. Bush wasn't just incompetent, ignorant and illiterate, he was
a fool on a mission, to harm the greatest number he was able to
harm.
To the great discredit of the Democrats and the real news
media (not the Fox lie), nobody was willing to stand up to the
evil.
That's what happened in Germany in the 1930s.
Mr. Bush
is cut from the same cloth as Hitler.
He's just not as effective
as the Nazi was.
