Ed Ovecka survived the Japanese sneak-attack on Pearl
Harbor, Hawaii on December 7, 1941.
He was repeatedly wounded
and lost part of his foot, but he survived.
He recently had to
endure another sneak-attack.
This one was from cops in
Pennsylvania.
Having survived to 87 years of age, Mr. Ovecka drove out to a nearby pond to watch the birds. He'd made the serious mistake of living in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Lebanon County in Central Pennsylvania is one of the most conservative places in the counrty and one of the worst. It's a police state where individual rights are habitually violated. The elderly World War II veteran watched the wildlife for a while and fell asleep in his car. Along came the cops. Never believe that any cop is your friend. Cops are the worst of criminals. The cops saw the sleeping man. He was old enough to be their grandfather. They saw his Purple Heart license plate. He'd done nothing wrong, broken no laws. The cops physically dragged him from his car by pulling him by his injured legs. They forced his arms behind his back and handcuffed him. Mr. Ovecka apparently made the mistake of standing up to the bullies so they roughed the old man up. Nazis are as dangerous today as they were during World War II. Having no legitimate excuse for the abuse, the cops decided to say that Mr. Ovecka was drunk. He wasn't. Doctors at the hospital treated the injuries the cops had inflicted and certified that the victim wasn't drunk. If he had been drunk, he still wouldn't have been violating any law. Cops are simply bad people. They injured the aged war survivor simply because he stood up for himself. We need a lot fewer cops. Within a few weeks Mister Ed Ovecka was dead. The bully Lebanon cops had helped to kill him.
