Mailing Millions
To Missouri

By: A Williams

Pennsylvania is a dying state. It's broke. Industry is fleeing. The young people are fleeing. It has only one growing business: prison.

Pennsylvania is a wreck. It looses billions. During the four years of the Bandit Bush, it lost 87,000 jobs! In the face to this economic disaster, the Pennsylvania Department of Imprisonment (called "DOC"), has made the clever decision to ship $28,000,000.00 out-of-state to Missouri. The millions and the 300 or more jobs that they represent are being sent to Keefe Company.

Keefe is part of a conglomerate of interlinked corporations operating under different names including "Access Catalog Company" and "Crawford Supply Company." It's located at:

Keefe Supply Company
Box 17490
Saint Louis, Missouri
1-800-325-8998

The basis for this bloodletting of cash is a contract to supply Pennsylvania prisoners with commissary necessities. The money being sent out-of-state isn't tax money. It's prisoners' money.

With typical DOC bumbling no supplier could be found (or created) in Philadelphia or Pittsburgh or Harrisburg or among the twelve million people of Pennsylvania. DOC jerks prefer to send buckets of bills to Missouri.

Who's running the ship?

We wholeheartedly agree that the prison commissaries should be uniform and supplied centerally. We think it's a matter of equal protection. In fact, our cofounder filed suit in order to achieve that very end. But, what economic twit decided that there was nobody in Pennsylvania who could get the twenty-eight million dollars, pay the taxes and hire 300 Pennsylvanians to do the jobs?

We are convinced that this is exactly why these jerks are in the imprisonment racket. They simply couldn't make it in real industry; drunks and incompetents.
