John Halliday, a cop from Hanover Township outside Wilkes- Barre in Luzerne County in Northeastern Pennsylvania, was convicted on federal charges for falsely claiming that his Ford pickup truck had been stolen. The cop fraudulently collected nearly $25,000.00 from the insurance company. It took them 5 years to bring him to justice.
