The Darkest Side of the Sun

It all started when I lost my brother,
No love for myself or another,
Wasn't even there for my mama.

I've been jinxed for years with trauma,
Excuse after excuse to tell
Kicking stones down the road to HELL!
Telling the world how I feel inside,
As I'm twirling down a twister slide,
On the darkest side of the sun.
Being strapped down inside an asylum,
No rest for the deranged
I lost the will to change.

Darkness imprisoned me; it's all I see
We're dominated by anarchy,
I cannot live, I cannot die.
Why the fuck do I even try??

Dead memories roaming my mind.
I carry this weight on my spine.
Creeping like a thief in the night
Can't you see I'm not all right!?!

Do you really like this world you're in?
We're floating in a pool of urine,
Blowing smoke rings of negative fumes.
You're pouring salt on my open wounds,
While dancing to Lucifer's drums.

The sunshine never comes!!!
