Greensburg, PA is everything you could possibly hate about a pathetic small town, annoying locals, old people* galore, snotty stuck-up bitch girls, complete idiot guys and, of course, rednecks.
The street I live on is mostly old people and little kids. Any young people with half a brain and any money got the hell out ages ago. Decent jobs are virtually nonexistent unless you want to be a guard at the prison or sell your soul to the Sony plant (neither of which is recommended).
Greensburg, PA is a blue-haired old ladies' town that rolls up its sidewalks at 6 PM. - except for bars and churches. It's devoid of anything remotely resembling a nightlife unless your idea of nightlife is a midnight banzai run to Wal-Mart for tube socks and a Larry the Cable Guy CD. One of my neighbors can point out three places where people have committed suicide. It must be the local pastime. While it does have a mall, it's usually completely overrun by old people, vapid, bitch girls and annoying kids. Greensburg, PA is the kind of place people go to solely to die. Like all of Pennsylvania, the roads are either a complete disaster full of potholes, or they're under perpetual construction with no completion date in sight. This is, however, a great opportunity to observe our state animal, the yellow-hatted sloth, in its natural habitat. The yellow-hatted sloth can be identified by its yellow hard-hat. Supposedly, it is protection from head injuries, but that would be pointless. There is nothing worth protecting and the sloth does no work of any kind which would result in injury. It is frequently found drinking coffee in a park or observing someone else at work. Once you leave Greensburg, you'll probably wish to get a lobotomy so that you'll have no memory whatsoever of your time there. However, if you value your sanity, avoid this hellhole at all costs.
*We have no idea what these children have against us "old people." If it were not for "old people," how, pray, would there be young people?
