Nobody hates the prison system more than I do; the people, the places, the philosophy, the medical abuses and ever the damn food! Anything I can do to harm the imprisonment racket, I'm all for it. Prison is a great social evil which harms every citizen and turns normal people into thugs. It's not good for the prisoners, either.
When, after more than 30 years, I survived to come home, I was excited by all the new things which now exist to harm the prison racket. One of the greatest is the Internet and its Worldwide Web. It's an almost limitless asset for information, communication, publicity and even propaganda. Little people can earn a big voice.
My good wife and I started this website when the web was a mere infant, in 1996. She's worked very hard on the site ever since. I've added my help where and as I could. Now that I'm home, we have a lot more people volunteering and a lot more help for all our activities. Were I not so physically sick, I could do more personaly. Email allows us to communicate at essentially no charge with all our contacts. And we have a great new editorin-chief.
Frankly, I've been surprised at how few of my very, very vocal enemies have bothered to email me. My address is gf@prisoners.com. A lot of our enemies have tried to "spoof" our email address to send out smut. I suppose that's what's on their mind.
One thing I discovered online were a jillion maps, satellite images and such-like. Maybe Google has the best at google.com/maps Personally, I'v discovered an asset called Google Earth. It's amazing! Enter "puke," and almost instantly, there's a satellite view of the Frackville state prison with Bobby Shannon supervising the beating of a prisoner. - Well, maybe not exactly, but you understand my meaning.
I figured that these overhead views of some of the Pennsylvania prisons might interest a few other people. I know that there was a time when they could have helped me.
It struck me that even at these great altitudes the prisons don't lose any of their hellish quality.
I've tried to put together a list of these entrances to hell as they appear from heaven. If there's one sure proof that there's no God, it's that prisons exist. Were there a God, Frackville and Bobby Shannon simply wouldn't exist!
