US Representative
Jim Gerlach

By: Alexander Calder

US Representative Jim Gerlach of suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania got off with only a fine - $120,000. The common Republican practice of lying or at least exaggerating seems to have caught up with him. Why do the suckers keep electing Republican cheats, liars and phonies? Gerlach "misreported" over two million dollars in campaign contributions and made other "mistakes" in financial matters.

Republicans care about money, not about people. Money "mistakes" are rare. More often, it's simply a matter of lies and cheating.

"You will eat, by and bye,
In that glorious land in the sky (way up high!);
Work and pray, live on hay,
You'll get pie in the sky when you die, (that's a lie!)
