Parolees Offered
Food Service Jobs
By: Edgar St. George
We get so many emails, but this one is of some real interest for persons on parole and those who are seeking parole, but need employment.

I'll simply reproduce the email with a little editing.

"I'm a professional chef who would like to help parolees get into my industry. I myself was in jail at the age of fifteen for 3 months. The culinary industry saved me. I would like to give other people information about my industry.

"It is the second largest employer in the country. It will grow to 12,000,000 in the workforce over the next decade.

"My interest is a long term one. I host a website www.chefsatwork.com which focuses totally on chefs working. They can post their profile free and they can read interviews. Employers wanting to list jobs pay me $29.95 a month to post the position.

"What I would like to see happen is that I become a non-profit agency. I want to add a new place on my site for entry level positions including stewarding/dishwashing. Employers who want to hire these people would get free ads.

The email includes the phone number
888-753-2433.
