Crooked Tampa Sheriffs
By: J. Andy Gallogly

For seven years I owned a night club in Tampa, Florida. Before I even opened the doors, I was threatened that there was going to be narcotic trafficking in the club by a sheriff's deputy, R.R.

Not long after we opened, I received numerous reports that it was true. I went to the FBI and reported the activity. Their advise was to tell the sheriff's office. I replied: "it's the sheriff's office who's behind it."

I'd called the sheriff's office before to report criminal activity in the club. I begged them to come inside and stop it. The officer said that it was private property. There was nothing he could do.

A lot of information came from strippers (prostitutes) pressed into working for these criminals. They wanted to turn on the guys, but no one would help.

After reporting the criminal activity to the FBI, I started to receive death threats. I than had one of the drug dealers get in my face. He said that I was playing both sides of the law. To make matters worse, one of the other dealers went to my accountant saying that I was a racist. He questioned my books and said that he was a Keith Hamilton of Florida's ABT. My accountant gave me the man's description and I confronted him in the club. I told him what I thought of him. It turned out that he's not the real Keith Hamilton, but a dealer with the sheriff's office's protection.

A gun was planted in my apartment in Saint Petersburg. I reported it to the FBI. Again, nothing was done to correct the problem.

In the seven years that I owned my club I witnessed extortion, prostitution, planting of evidence, narcotic trafficking, perjury, grand theft, mail tampering and assault to list just a few of the crimes done under the protection of the Hillsboro Sheriff's office. I've since closed the club and filed a suit. Any help to bring light to my investigation would be welcome.
