We get many letters and emails. Some are from guards or their
apologizests, especially psychopathic wives. Most of our
correspondence, however is like the following plea from a
prisoner's mother. We've edited the letter and protected the
writer's name. She doesn't yet realize that prison is trying
to destroy her son and drive him mad.
I've just found your site and I've been reading some of the things on it. I'm quite upset. My son [Michael] is in the hole at Frackville state prison. He's been there for quite some time. He's concerned that he'll max-out from there. He's gone from 200 and something pounds down to 125 pounds. He's just recently had a nervous breakdown and spent some time in the mental health ward.
