Huntingdon's Huge
Drug Bust

By: Robert Price

Mark Frehn will be snitching like a girl pretending she was raped. You can count on the fact that Mark will be telling the cops everything he knows, everything he can make up and everything they tell him to say.

Mark Alan Frehn is a young man, obviously not very bright. He's a kitchen worker at the moldering state prison at Huntingdon in Central Pennsylvania. The cops busted him with some dope. They say he was intending to sell the dope inside the prison. "How much dope?" you want to know. The cops claim it was 3 ounces of heroin and 5 POUNDS of weed!

We seldom believe what cops say, but in this case, they should know. The cops are the ones who sold him the drugs!

We've often repeated that the drugs that get inside the prisons are smuggled in by the staff, mostly by the guards. Visitors introduce little or no illegal substances. The prison system just likes to discourage visiting by "testing" and harassing visitors.

It seems that first a nurse at the Huntingdon prison was busted smuggling in drugs. That started what the cops called "an undercover investigation." Fool Frehn was entrapped by the so-called "investigation." For the amount of dope the cops sold to him, Mark will be an old man by the time he gets out of jail. Well, maybe not. Maybe he can snitch out enough people to get his sentence down to 20 years. The cops who sold him the drugs won't get anything!

Who will really suffer are the Huntingdon prisoners. The guards will tear up their cells and property. The prisoners will lose most of what they have. Their visitors will be even more harassed and badgered because of what the staff did. That's always the way; the Department of Imprisonment can't face the reality that it and its minions are the real culprits.
