Pennsylvania's
U.S. Representatives

Of the 435 members of the United States House of Representatives, 19 come from Pennsylvania. Eleven are Democrats (designated by a "D" in the following list. Eight are Republicans, designated with an "R" on the list. Some of the Pennsylvania representative like Murtha and Holden are pretty good. Some, like Pitts and Gerlach, are pretty bad. Whatever they are, you're stuck with them. It's your fault - VOTE!

Each US representative supposedly represents about 630,000 citizens. Each one serves for only 2 years at a time. Then he/she must stand for election again. That's way more than enough time for many of these guys. We strongly support term limits, say 10 years of total service. They can get plenty of graft in 10 years.

Representatives are elected from districts to represent the persons of that district. The districts are irregular is size and shape. Most overlap parts of counties. District numbers and the counties or parts of counties each person represents are included in the following list within brackets [].

You pay these guys. They're supposed to represent YOU. We urge all citizens and especially the loved ones of prisoners, to express themselves to these representatives. Tell them what you think and feel. Ask them for help. Don't be shy!

Address representatives as "Honorable Representative X." The salutation should be "Dear Mister or Madam x."

Keep in mind that Republicans care about money, big business and property. They don't care about the well-being of ordinary citizens except to control and use them. Conservatives are the very worst of the Republicans; enemies of the people.
