George W. Bush's slaughter of Iraqis is by no means America's
first criminal war.
It isn't even close to being the worst.
America is a savage nation with a long history of criminal acts. Below are listed the 15 most criminal American wars. The whole list is much longer. Sadly, American governments, especially the Republican regimes, like killing and oppression. The American motivation for violence has generally been money. Americans will kill anybody for money. As a result, America has seldom been at peace. If it's not massacring Cherokees in Georgia to steal their gold, it's massacring Spaniards to steal their plantations or Iraqis to steal their oil or just for the fun of it. By far America's most criminal war was the Civil War. The mythology is that the Civil War was about slavery. It wasn't. It was an economic war of domination. The industrial North caused the destruction of half a million American lives in order to insure that it retained economic dominance over both the agricultural South and over poor white wage slaves. American students are habitually deceived with political propaganda and historical myth in place of education. Most American adults are simply ignorant. They neither know nor care about real history and they have no idea of how many wars America has fought or for what reasons. Republican warmongers rely on that ignorance. How else would they manipulate the masses to die in order to make the rich richer? Below I've listed the 15 most criminal American wars. I've included the approximate dates and I've graded how evil each war was. My evaluation is based on how much harm was done by the war, what can be said as a justification for the war, the war's cost in lives and money and any real benefits which flowed to the American people from the war. Of course, my principal consideration is one of ethics, morality. To Republican bigots "morality" means sexual pleasure, or really assuring that someone else doesn't have any. My use of the term is very different. It is simply wrong to kill, wrong to exploit, wrong to oppress; in short, it's wrong to be Republican. Arranged In Declining Order With a grade for how evil each war was.
The object of this little history lesson is that a good citizen doesn't blindly accept as true the things that his government feeds him. Be skeptical, investigate and think for yourself. If it's a Republican trying to convince you of something, it's axiomatic that it's a lie.
