We're publishing images of one of the notes we got about the matter. We also include a verbatim transcript of the note. "Good day. When you receive this mail, go right to page 2, "Notice." This is a[n] emergency situation. Please contact Mr. Bret Grote of the Human Rights Coalition and ask him to activate ERN at once concerning this inmate. He is directly under my cell. He doesn't talk to anybody, but I hear him talking to himself. He cries late at night. He is saying to himself, he just wants to end it all. He keps repeating this every night. He won't answer when I call to him. His cell water is turned off. His toilet has accumulated feces and urine. The guards and nurses keep asking [taunting] him to flush his toilet, but he won't [can't]. He has head trauma.
The nurses keep asking him, 'I see you have new hear injuries today. Will you let me clean it before it gets infected?' He doesn't respond. He doesn't take his medications. They keep asking him to let us clean the feces and blood off of you. And when they leave, the guards tease him and call him racist names, some telling him to 'go ahead and do us all a favor, kill yourself.' [Unknown word] this inmate is going to really harm himself. I can feel it in my bones. I['vel never seen anything like this. These people are heartless. Please help this human being. Also, please see that this declaration gets in the hands of Angus Love. Thank you in advance." In another note, it's made clear that the insane inmate is smashing his head against his cell wall, knocking himself unconscious. Although we're certain that the superintendent and prison official are fully aware of what's happening, we've informed the superintendent. He is a truly foul person who seems to relish how prisoners are abused, injured and mistreated. What kinds of persons are employed at the Camp Hill prison? We urge you to write and inquire how these people are using your taxmoney and why:
