Perhaps the biggest hogs leaching on public welfare are Pennsylvania prison guards. These are unbelievably lazy public drones. They sit around doing nothing - Bums! But, what do you pay them? More than $41,000 a year on average! Over $790 a week to loaf! I don't know what you earn, but guards don't "earn." They just get paid. Take the incident with a guard named Crum. An elderly prisoner struggling to drag a mattress upstairs to a storage room. Crum, wanting to impress the prisoner with his importance, demanded to know what the man was doing. Apparently Crum wasn't bright enough to recognize what dragging a mattress was. "I'm taking this mattress upstairs, unless you want to do it," the prisoner explained. Shrinking back as if he'd been struck by a brick, Guard Crum answered, "oh no, I don't do that! No, all the guards do is collect over $41,000 a year in wages, plus about $25,000 in benefits!
