No group of citizens kills as many people as cops. For their number, they out murder the mob about six to one. It's impossible to keep an accurate count of how many persons cops slaughter, but a case in point is Craig Knepper. For fourteen years Craig Knepper was a cop on the force in Johnstown, a small town in west central Pennsylvania. We won't go into his reputation as a cop. It might color your opinion. He had a live-in girl friend, Susan Fyock. One summer day cop Craig shot his girlfriend in the head while her four year-old son looked on. The nice thing about being a cop is that you can usually get away with murder. In that respect cop Craig was a little unlucky. He didn't get away with the execution of his lover, but he was allowed to make a lenient deal. He pled guilty to third degree murder and got 20 years.
