Camp Hill Prison
Searches Visitor's Cars

By: Irene West

The thugs running the state prison at Camp Hill across the river from Harrisburg in central Pennsylvania have made a practice of searching the cars of all visitors. Why? because they can! Because they have to find something for all those extra guards to do. Because people in the imprisonment racket are simply bullies.

The prison system justifies all of its abuses by claiming "security." It's their standard lie, a cover-up for the real reason. They are snoops, busybodies.

Families who drive (often long distances) to visit a prisoner are subjected to the intrusion and the invasion of their privacy of having guards search their cars. What's behind the witch hunt? Nothing really. The guards say they're looking for drugs. By far, the greatest evil of drugs is how the authorities have used them as an excuse to rob you of your liberty, privacy and dignity. Our survey indicates that at least 88% of prison guards use some kind of drugs, mostly alcohol. Many come to work drunk or stoned.

At least 14% of Pennsylvania prison guards use illegal drugs, mostly marijuana and cocaine. Their cars aren't searched!

Be warned, if you visit Camp Hill expect to be delayed, humiliated and to have your privacy invaded by having your car searched. When you as citizens give power to the government expect them to misuse it. Pennsylvania cops and guards oppress and abuse not just prisoners, but everybody.
