Murder is an old Christian doctrine.
In its long and bloody
history of oppression and abuse Christianity has repeatedly
returned to one of its core beliefs: murder!
The Christian fanatic who uses the name Pat Robertson has solicited the murder of a foreign leader. Of course, soliciting murder is suppose to be a crime, but Christian crazies are above such mundane laws. The Christian Mr. Robertson has disagreements with Hugo Chavez, the freely elected President of Venezuela. The Christian Mr. Robertson wasn't elected to anything even though he claimed that his god told him to run for president of the United States. The Christian solution to Mr. Robertson's disagreements is to murder President Chavez. I wonder how Americans would respond if some foreign religious leader, say the Pope or an ayatollah solicited the murder of the American president. The Christian Mr. Robertson doesn't like that President Chavez controls so much oil, 10% of what America imports. The Christian Mr. Robertson teaches that we should kill innocent people in order to seize their oil as we've done in Iraq. The Christian Mr. Robertson doesn't approve of President Chavez's politics. President Chavez supports socialist and Communist philosophy which give wealth and power to ordinary people. Right wing crazies like the Christian Mr. Robertson detest the notion of individual liberty. Mostly, the Christian Mr. Robertson doesn't like the fact that President Chavez won't kiss up to American tyranny and tyrants such as George W. Bush. Standing up to American abuses and exploitation makes the Christian Mr. Robertson angry. America is the world's bully. It's an empire of arrogance, war and theft. The Christian Mr. Robertson doesn't like those who defy American exploitation. President Hugo Chavez is certainly no saint, but he's the democratically elected leader of a sovereign nation. He didn't have to buy it with a corrupt Supreme Court. George W. Bush used the CIA to try to overthrow President Chavez in 2002. Bush's CIA failed. The Venezuelan people put Chavez right back into power. We have long warned that Christian crazies are very dangerous people. Not all Christians are crazy, but too many of them are cast in the likeness of Christian Pat Robertson. If he's willing to kill a foreign president, who else would be on his hit-list? You, me, anyone who disagrees with his Christian mania? Or must we have oil that he wants to steal? Shortly before soliciting the murder of President Chavez, the Christian Mr. Robertson prayed to his god to kill-off a US Supreme Court justice so that a mindless Christian puppet would get the job.
