Some cases decided by or pending before the state or federal courts, have a direct bearing on prisoners as a group. They are precedent setting cases or suits which affect prisoners' lives of the lives of their families.

We would like to obtain authors, reporters and co-editors to help us add interesting cases to this department. Cases may come from anyplace, but we're especially interested Pennsylvania cases.

The following menu lists the articles we've published relating to a few court cases. If you have your own stories about court cases or decisions, please email them to us for publication.
