Everyone with a lick of sense has all along realized that George W. Bush is a drunk and a drug addict. As any lush can tell you, alcohol is one of the worst of all drugs. Since so many politicians are addicted to it, it happens to be a legal drug. I remember when Clinton was president, the Republicans were persecuting him and wanted to impeach him over sex! I mean, what's more normal and healthy than sex? But President Clinton liked getting the bratwurst chewed and, to the psychologically repressed Republicans (poor dears), that was good enough reason to scandalize him. So, now "Baby Doc" Bush stole the election and slithered into the White House. He's a lush, a liar and a junky. The Republicans love him - "birds of a feather," as they say. The interesting thing is that Daddy Bush has coached his kids. They are following in daddy's footsteps, drunks and crooks. At nineteen, his twin daughters, Barbara and Jenna, have already been arrested repeatedly. Often they've been falling-down drunk (and this is while they've got a squad of Secret Service agents inhibiting them). To most of us this kind of parenting is clearly child abuse; making a junky out of one's own kids! But just as sex is a pleasure, alcoholism is a weakness or a sickness. President Bush shouldn't be impeached for his human shortcomings any more than President Clinton should have been impeached over his dick. Drug abusers, even the children of dangerous extremists like George Bush, should not be imprisoned or made into criminals. All drugs should be legal and the poor souls who abuse them should be helped and treated, not punished.
