Steven Bender, a guard employed at the notoriously vicious State Correctional Institution at Greene County, has been charged with a vicious shotgun murder. Steven Bender is charged with killing Marvin Knieriem apparently in a jealous rage. Police report that Bender broke into Mr. Knieriem's home where he found his wife and toddler daughter sleeping in Mr. Knieriem's bedroom. Bender then blased Knieriem. After the man was dead, he shot him twice more.

For obvious reasons, prison guards have a lot of trouble keeping wives.
