| After months of cover-up and inside "investigation," the complaints of women prisoners at the Bucks County Jail in Doylestown in the Eastern part of Pennsylvania have resulted in the confessions of a number of members of the prison staff of sexual abuses.
The scale of the rapes and sexual exploitation is enormous. It has been continuing for years as a kind of institutionalized perk for the guards. Of course, such sexual exploitation is very common in prison. The bully quards frequently force sex upon prisoners (both female and male). The prisoners are helpless to defend themselves. In Bucks County, confessions have so far come from four members of the staff: Peter Doyle, a so-called counselor Robert Gilmore, a guard sergeant and William McMullen, a so-called guard "captain." Since these are guards, officials won't detail the charges against them. No doubt, they'll make a deal for a pat on the wrist. Prison guards and cops get away with just about any crime. Their buddies cover up for them. Want to bet on how many of them will get prison time? |
