Northumberland County Children and Youth is one of Pennsylvania's many agencies to interfere with families. While it doesn't appear to be much worse than the hundred or so other similar child interference gangs, we've gotten several complaints about them. We reproduce one such complaint below. One of the remarkable things about these agencies is that most of the staff have no children and no practical, real-life experience. The staff is largely cranky gay men, old maids and girls more interested in career than in children. The point is that they have almost no idea what they're doing. They have no interest in the best interest of the children. Their interest is in punishing the parents. Bureaucrats don't make good super-moms. They don't even make good neighbors. Everybody who's dealt with them agrees that these are bad folks harming society. An Email From Shamokin, Pennsylvania I've had these nasty people literally steal my kids from me. I never had a case with them except for a "social worker" on a revenge trip. My case is now in the Superior Court of Appeals. Hopefully they will help us. Our public defender lawyer was rammed down our throats. The public defender did absolutely nothing for us. My husband fired him and we are now acting as our own lawyer. Our story is a very long one. I won't attempt to waste your time, but these people are very vindictive. They will do anything to keep your children from you. We've contacted everybody under the sun about their intentional misconduct.
