My Public Defender was
a "public Pretender"

I was locked up in 1997 for a double murder-rape that I didn't do.

The DNA shows that I didn't do the rape. I didn't rape of murder anyone.

The doctor's reports shows that these two women were in some type of a fight. The number of attackers were multiple.

Authorities told my sister that they knew I didn't do it, but they think I know who did.

I took a plea of no contest, not fully knowing what it meant. I thought it meant it kept my case open until I was ready to fight it. I didn't realize that I had to fight it right then.

My cousin told me to do this and that he'd help me put the paperwork in to get back into court. Thinking that he was going to help me, my time to appeal passed. Now We're looking for help. My case is on the Innocent in Prison website. Kathie Pumm, the lady from this project, did her research. She was willing to put my case on the Internet.

I would not have put so much effort into fighting this matter if I'd done it.

I didn't have public defenders. I had Public Pretenders! Please help me!
