 Did you miss the $140 sneaked out of your wallet? and not just your wallet! A hundred forty bucks was also lifted from your spouse and each of your kids; $140 apiece went down Pennsylvania's prison sewer.
Did you happen to see the Super Bowl? Visualize the throng in the stadium. Give every single one of those persons $20,000.00 each. That's how much is flushed down the Pennsylvania prison sewer each year. And each year it's getting worse and worse. The Pennsylvania Department of Imprisonment is such a complete failure that it's a sewer for tons of tax money. Tons, literally; the yearly budget of the Pennsylvania Department of Imprisonment would weigh 30 tons and fill a semi-trailer in 5s and 10s! Don't think that the prisoners benefit from all that tax cash. Far from it. Almost all the $1,700,000,000.00 is sucked up by the staff. The overpaid, underworked drones cost you over four million dollars a day! $175,000.00 an hour! Millions of dollars are actually gouged from the prisoner. That really means the money comes from the prisoners' impoverished families. The Pennsylvania Department of Imprisonment takes millions in its "skim" (as the racketeers call it) from the prison phone racket. It takes millions more from its commissary racket. Most despicable of all, it steals the old prisoners' social security stipend. That makes sure the old guys stay broke and helpless. When you realize that you're feeling a little lighter in the purse, remember where your money has gone; to keep other citizens locked away. If they were rehabilitated back into you wouldn't be taxed to torment them. In fact, they would be adding a significant benefit to the whole economy.
