How to Steal
$12,000,000,000.00
(That's Billions!)

Visualize a convoy of 16 tractor trailer trucks. The next time you brave the interstate, look for a train of 16 trucks. See what sort of a mammoth chain that is.

Now, visualize that the 16 truck caravan is packed full of money - cash - hundred dollar bills, mostly. The money is neatly shrink-wrapped into tidy bricks. The bricks are mounded onto pallets and snuggly wrapped again. There are 484 of those mountains of money. Each pallet weighs 1500 pounds, about as much as your car.

Now, visualize that all that cash is US taxpayers' money. Nobody's sure exactly how much of our money it actually is. One report says it was only $4,000,000,000 (that's billions). A second report said that it was over $12,000,000,000 (that's also billions), about $40 taken from each man, woman and child in the country, a fortune even by Republican standards of corrupt exploitation. We figure that the 12 billion figure is closer to the truth.

The 16 truck-loads of neatly bundled cash are packed into airplanes. The airplane-loads of money are flown off to George W. Bush's pet war in Iraq. In typical Republican fashion, the conservatives thought they could buy Iraqis. They figured the Iraqis wouldn't mind being massacred if they were paid enough cash.

Funny thing, money didn't buy the Iraqis' conscious. How would you react to an invading army in the streets of your town, breaking into your house, murdering and raping your family? Would money make you think it was okay? Only if you're a Republican. Republicans will do anything for money, even sacrifice families or a whole nation. Republicans don't give a damn about people, only property.

So, in March 2003, the mountain of greenbacks arrived in Iraq. Bush's personal agent, Paul Bremer, put the Everest of hundreds to work. He lost it! He couldn't keep track of 16 trucks-loads of cash.

There was $600 for each citizen of Iraq. We killed off about 600,000 of those poor victims, mostly women and children. They're the easiest to "conquer." Millions of others, all those who could afford it, fled the bloody invasion. The population of the country dropped by almost a third, from about 22.5 million to about 16 million, mostly the poorest citizens who had no way to flee the storm of death.

What was Bremer and the puppet government going to do with bales of money, 726,000 pounds of money, 485 pallets of crisp, fresh Federal Reserve notes? It wasn't a problem. The money was given away to friends of the puppet government. In one case, over a billion dollars was trucked out of Iraq into the secret Jordanian bank accounts of two "businessmen" (really spies). We haven't yet discovered how many billions found their way into the pockets of American politician, military gangs and political hacks. He know that much of the money went directly to the "enemy" so that they could buy more arms to kill Americans and innocent Iraqis.

This "Bundles of Bucks" strategy was only one of President Bush's Republican war plans. Money and murder were his plan. A whole nation was sacrificed for Bush's mad ego. Everything he did was a war crime. The worst part of the travesty is that almost a third of Americans think that such a crime, or series of crimes was a good idea, a good thing to do. What has happened in America? The inmates have taken charge of the asylum.
